| back from my vacation! oh boy..that was hilarious.
thursday-- we left school at like 10:30. i sat with erin on the way up, which was much fun. we had a whole lot of stuff to entertain ourselves, and we got mattie and sarah jealous =]. we got there around 1, and then me and erin met some pretty scary kids. we had to do stuff most of the day, but we had some free time, where i learned how to play blackjack with some cool kids. and then at dinner, me and erin decided to try to squeeze into this tiny table with andy, nathaniel, brian, james, andrew, chris, and others, just for fun. that was pretty freaking hilarious. later on, me and erin met our host family...they seemed really nice at first, but apparently they hated us?! yeah so that was not good.
friday-- we had to wake up at five because our host had to get to school early, so me and erin were sitting in the hallway trying to help me memorize the romeo and juliet prologue. and then we both fell asleep in the hallway. i dont really remember what we did all day..i learned how to play poker, but i am officially terrible. at night when we got home to our host's house, we were bored out of our minds but we didnt want to be rude, so we just stayed up in our room and erin did her geometry homework...how sad! we ended up going downstairs and watching tv, but they only had one channel, and it was the 11:00 news.
saturday-- well this was one of the most amazing days of my life! got up pretty early, went over to the school, got on the bus, then we all drove down to baltimore. we got there, and we were supposed to go listen to these people sing, but me and erin and some others decided to walk around instead. after that was over, we went to this showcase thing and got some really cool pins (pictures later!) oh and then i almost died bc i couldnt find medicine for my knees! then i got lost all by myself, which was pretty interesting...i had to ask this cop where i could find some medicine. then i found james and brian, so i just hung out with them for a while.
after that, we went on this amazing cruise! i didnt think it was going to be fun at all, but it was great. it was a 3 hour dinner cruise around the harbor...we had great food, and there was a DJ and a dance floor, and an observation deck that we had very much fun on. after the cruise, we had two hours to walk around the city and shop or whatever. so me and erin found this huge, really nice mall and we went there. went to body shop and used all their makeup, just for fun, and got all the salespeople really mad at us. then we went to this movie thing, the most boring thing i've ever done,so i littered on their floor alot. we had more free time after that, to find dinner, so me and erin went with james, brian, chris, andy, and some other people on this little journey to find mcdonalds..what an adventure. then they all decided to run back through the mall, and all the cops got pretty suspicious. i didnt feel like running, so once again, i was lost! it took me like half an hour to find those kids, so i was pretty annoyed. hung out with them for a while, then we went to this jazz concert?! which was pretty good in the beginning, but then i felt really sick from the food i ate, so i sat out on one of the couches in the lobby, and brian and james came out and entertained me. i dont think i have ever laughed so hard! we went outside on this balcony thing, and i almost fell off the two story ledge thing. then james was all paraniod about us setting off an alarm in the doors, and every five minutes he's like...there it is again!..weird kid. came inside, and there was this mouse underneath the closet door that kept sticking its little head out! so brian and james took their shoes off and were trying to kill it! it was one of the funniest things in my life.
after the concert we waited for the bus for a long time. mattie found out that brian has a girlfriend! so she was dissappointed =]. the busride home took 3 hours, and we watched the prince and me, so that made it all seem longer. i just listened to my cd player the whole time, and i had the worst stomache ache ever, so i just went to sleep. got back to school at 1, came home and went to sleep. no church today, so i get to sleep. im very happy. now i have to do 2378917498729849238174 hours worth of homework. i cant wait.
